Art of Thankfulness

       God guides us always so how thankful we should be
       Give thanks to the Lord for he is good...


                       For all that god in mercy sends
                       For comfort in the time of need
                       For happy thoughts and holy talk
                       For guidance in our daily work
                       For comfort in the time of need
                       For the refreshing summer breeze

                       For the sweet sleep which comes with night
                       For the stars glittering in the sky
                       For the bright sun that shines on high
                       For the returning morning's light
                       For these and everything we see


       In all my perplexities and distresses, my God has never failed to
       give me light and strength...
